Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Furniture Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the perfect furniture pieces to meet their specific needs and preferences. Your exceptional communication skills and in-depth product knowledge will play a vital role in creating a positive shopping experience for our valued clients.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a welcoming atmosphere in the showroom.
• Engage with customers to understand their furniture requirements and offer expert advice and product recommendations.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our furniture products, including materials, dimensions, and design features.
• Assist customers in navigating the showroom, showcasing various furniture options and answering any questions they may have.
• Collaborate with the customer and suggest complementary furniture pieces to create cohesive and functional workspaces.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
• Ensure the showroom is always neat, organized, and visually appealing to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to provide insightful recommendations to customers.
• Follow up with potential customers via phone or email to address any additional inquiries and convert leads into sales.
• Collaborate with the rest of the sales team and management to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales in the furniture or related industry (must be at least 1 year)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• A passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Strong product knowledge and the ability to articulate features and benefits effectively.
• Results-driven and customer-focused with a desire to exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
